The Ridnaun mine becomes a labyrinthine resonance space for new sounds. The ensemble chromoson and the montane choir Coro Cima Bianca play the tunnels and ore processing plants of the industrial monument with the interconnected interdisciplinary compositions of the South Tyroleans Manuel Zwerger and Alexander Kaiser. Musically and performatively, electronic and instrumental sounds tap the massive machines for crushing the rock and the acoustic architecture of the tunnel system, awakening old and new spirits of Alpine labor and industrial culture.
