HAPHARZARD(OUS) MOMENTUM

Pianist, musician and composer: Icelandic musician Davíð Þór Jónsson is an artist distinguished by his versatility and passion for improvisation. Winner of numerous national and international awards, Davíð has worked over the years as an instrumentalist, composer, conductor, arranger and producer, collaborating with many of Iceland's leading musicians, directors and artists. In his compositions and performances, ideas and sounds come together organically to create unique creations. Haphazard(ous) Momentum is an improvisational piano concert, in which unpredictability and spontaneity take centre stage. Each sound, pause, vibration becomes a creative act in its own right, while remaining linked to the totality of the flow. A fluid and unpredictable energy, in which the unexpected and instability intertwine in a continuous musical momentum.
