On the evening of September 11th, the transformation of the park that characterizes the Transart OASIE begins, marking the commencement of NOBODY'S VILLAGE.
A village that is never the same, built and undone, a place without boundaries.
A village of no one, for everybody and nobody.

NOBODY'S VILLAGE will undergo an initiation rite during the opening by the local creative scene, energetically activating the space. Practices and traditions are gathered like pieces of colored glass, like sparks exchanged under a tent. The tent is a canvas, but it’s also a mosaic, a map, a path that is never straight.

We meet under this tent, which will serve as the gathering space and roof for the coming days. The tent will come alive on the very first evening with various interventions:
As a community, we will witness the imaginary mapping of the local creative scene on the communal tent by Robi Romeo Sejfula, Gerardo Del Vasto and Monica Niederlechner. The map is not just a map; it’s a refuge, a collective work; it’s the territory, the territory is the village, the village is NOBODY'S VILLAGE .

An idea becomes a symbol, a symbol becomes a trace, a trace becomes a refuge, or perhaps a the map that becomes a space, a living cartography, a fabric of experiences:

  • Studio FOS creates a paint from apple waste
  • Irene Hager prepares a yarrow drink to seal the act of raising.
  • Santija Bieza dances in the labyrinth of the map
  • Markus Prieth raises his yodel into a sky that isn’t a sky
  • DJ set by 3reflip closes the circle closes and opens, a new beginning.

This is the beginning of a village that is built, inhabited, lived, that never stops.
A village of no one, but for everyone, a mosaic, a cartography, a tent, a world where each step draws a path, every path is a beginning.
