Let’s sit together!

With the sessions and Picnics, the MUSEION Art Club invites creatives from the region to share and further develop their practices, experiences, and activities in NOBODY’S VILLAGE within three thematic blocks. Visitors and those interested can participate in the public sessions, learn about various forms of creative work, and actively contribute to shaping them. The Picnics serve as the final moment where, through shared time, food, drink, and conversation, the experiences from the sessions are revisited and presented once more.

Session: The Art of Cuddling with Hotel Amazonas, Knuddeln Knödel

September 13, 19:00—21:00

Through consensual touch and cuddling between friends and strangers one can train to feel, respect and formulate own boundaries and desires, to heal, to engage with others, to play, to relax, to even have a natural high through the release of happiness hormones. We claim that cuddling can be an environmental practice that helps us to heighten our awareness and
consciousness, to be in close contact with ourselves and to what is surrounding us. In this session we'll further explore some performative aspects of touch in a semi-public frame.

N.B. To participate in this session, signup is necessary via this link. For those who simple want to watch, just show up!

Session: Seeds of commons with A Place To B(z)

September 14, 15:00—18:00

We’ll kick off with an open forum to discuss how urban spaces can become nurturing environments for community life. Here, we’ll tap into collective imagination, envisioning public areas as extensions of our living rooms—welcoming, inclusive, and alive with possibility. Participants will engage in a creative exercise to map out overlooked areas and cultural resources in Bolzano, identifying the spaces that hold the most potential for transformation. In small groups, we’ll brainstorm and develop concrete, actionable plans to transform one identified space into a vibrant community hub.

Session: Actions of Care with Stüa

September 15, 12:00—16:00

In this final session, we enter a state of potentiality, a space where all possibilities coexist, and multiple realities can be imagined and realized. We will meld the gathered experiences and elements from the previous sessions—from Art of Cuddling to Seeds of Commons into a communal body. This communal body can be envisioned as an imagined that carries shared desires, needs, and dreams. We gather to explore the process of blending water and flour, elements that, with patience and care, evolve into a living, breathing mass. Together, we will knead our imagined futures into this communal body, asking ourselves: What are the ingredients of our communal dough? What desires and shapes does it carry? What stories can we tease out from it? As we engage in this act of creation, we reflect which ingredients we can add, to disrupt and reshape rigid structures, forming them into more inclusive, fluid and nurturing forms for all beings. Our reflections will eventually evolve into a web where the self, the other, and the environment are interconnected, much like a mycelial network, ultimately forming an atlas—a map, a manifesto of communal desires and shared potentialities.

PICNIC: Everybeing’s potentiaities: from seeds of commons to actions of care

Imagine a city where every corner is filled with life and care - a place where creativity blossoms, connections deepen, and community thrives. Welcome to "Everybeing's Potential".
Over a 3-day exploration hosted by A place to B(z), Stüa and Hotel Amazonas we’ve turn this vision into a lived experience. Join us for the Picnic at NOBODY'S VILLAGE, to get a taste of our journey, shape our rested dough individually and collectively into various forms and bake them. This act of bread-making serves as a metaphor for the creation of a communal body— a shared organism that embodies our collective desires, needs, and dreams.

Knuddeln Knödel is a space where tenderness, touch and communication outside of romantic and sexual relationships can be explored consciously – aka. Chiara Baccanelli, trained sex therapist, took this idea that started to bloom in 2023 further, through organizing and guiding open sessions in a space in Bolzano.

A Place to B(z) is a transformative citizens initiative dedicated to reimagining spaces, nurturing creativity, and strengthening our local community. Our mission is to advocate for the opening of unused areas as innovative laboratories for ideas and independent culture. We envision these spaces as a dynamic hub for citizen-driven projects and an incubator for groundbreaking ideas. We want to ensure equal access, support residents to actively participate in crafting a city narrative, and empower citizens to influence their neighbourhood's development.

Hotel Amazonas, conceived as an artist residency and cultural program on a mountain farm in South Tyrol and active since 2012, it is currently in a phase between pause and new beginnings. Since its inception, the art and farm project, founded and organized by Margareth Kaserer, has been challenging and redefining the relationships between culture, nature, and agriculture.

Stüa develops cutting-edge modular structures to re-imagine contemporary public spaces. Founded in South Tyrol, Italy, its flagship offering transforms abandoned urban areas into vibrant communal hubs anchored around a signature central oven. Built using ancient rammed earth techniques under an expert-led collaborative process, these distinctive cultural landmarks spark social cohesion through accessible, engaging multi-use social infrastructure. Stüa is one of the winning projects of the New European Bauhaus Ignite-Grow Program 2024, supported by EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology, New European Bauhaus, and BASIS Vinschgau Venosta.
